Playa Ses Illetes
Playa de Ses Illetes se encuentra en la península de Es Trucadors, en la parte norte de la isla de Formentera Ahi mismo podemos encontrar la maravillosa playa rosa; esta particular coloración viene dada por la unión entre los finos granos blancos de arena y los residuos de polvo de coral que emergen del mar.
El nombre Playa de Ses Illetes significa «playa de las islas pequeñas» en catalán: de hecho, ahí esta la famosa isla de Espalmador. No lejos de Ses Illetes, precisamente en el lado opuesto de la lengua de arena, encontramos la playa de Levant; estas dos playas están tan cerca que a menudo se las llama «las gemelas» estan al lado opuesto la una de la otra y ambas playas pertenecen a una zona denominada Parque Natural de Ses Salines. Por lo tanto si buscas una zona tranquila con unas visitas únicas al mar turquesa y arena blanca Ses Illetes es sin duda el lugar.
Cala Saona
Cala Saona es la única playa ubicada en el lado oeste de la isla y ofrece un entorno único. La arena es blanca y el mar cristalino ofrece fondos arenosos e inclinados, ideales para nadar y relajarse en la orilla. Pero lo que caracteriza a este lugar son sin duda las grandes rocas rojas que delimitan la cala.
A pesar de su tamaño reducido, de unos 200 metros de largo y 140 de ancho, en este lugar, especialmente durante las primeras horas de la mañana, disfrutará de una paz absoluta que lo hará sentir casi en una playa privada. Si te apetece disfrutar de una preciosa puesta de sol llena de colores cálidos Cala Saona es el lugar ideal. Ademas dispone del chiringuito Kiosko Cala Saona, ubicado en una zona elevada donde podrás tomarte un mojito refrescante disfrutando la increíble puesta de sol.
Playa de Migjorn
Playa de Migjorn se encuentra en el lado sur de la isla, ese tramo de tierra aún intacto y rico en vegetación. Entre los dos puntos más extremos de Formentera, por un lado Cap de Barbaria y por otro La Mola, este litoral arenoso de unos 6 km, no solo es la playa mas larga de Formentera, sino también la parte más salvaje que siempre ha sido fascina a quienes visitan la isla. Rica en calas y bahías, Playa de Migjorn es el lugar perfecto para sintonizarse con el espíritu más auténtico de la isla.
En su extensión, la Playa de Migjorn generalmente se divide en cuatro partes: Ca Marí, que es la más cercana al pueblo de Sant Ferran, Migjorn, que es la parte central, Es Arenals, que es la más turística y se caracteriza por una playa muy grande, tanto por extensión como por profundidad, y finalmente Es Copinar, que es la parte final.
Esta Playa se denomina muy única ya que no todo el mundo la conoce porque es la playa mas alejada de Ibiza y no se considera tan turística como Ses Illetes. Por lo tanto es ideal para aquellos que busquéis un lugar más tranquilo pero que no pierde la esencia formenterense de tener preciosas playas y aguas cristalinas.
Es Pujols
Es Pujols es una playa conocida por ser pequeña y social, llena de chiringuitos y restaurantes informales en lugar de la típica fabulosidad de cinco estrellas de Formentera. La preciosa cala está flanqueada por una pintoresca pasarela de madera entre la playa y las dunas, lo que facilita el recorrido de un extremo a otro, y ofrece aguas cristalinas y tranquilas, perfectas para practicar deportes acuáticos. Cuando el sol se pone, la zona empieza a calentarse y los chiringuitos y restaurantes de los alrededores empiezan a bullir de actividad, así que se convierte en el sitio perfecto para quedarse durante el anochecer.
Es Caló de Sant Agustí
Es Caló de Sant Agustí es conocido por ser una pequeña zona de la isla que pertenecía a los agricultores y de pescadores de Formentera. Es un núcleo de población pequeño y encantador, en un rincón de la costa de Tramontana y muy próximo al inicio del Camí de Sa Pujada. Una ruta verde en Formentera Camí Romà que antiguamente fue el camino que usaban los romanos para subir a la zona de la Mola, que recorre el camino histórico para subir hasta La Mola con vistas únicas sobre toda la isla de Formentera, Ibiza y Es Vedrá.
Tradicionalmente, las pequeñas embarcaciones lo usaban como uno de los diversos puertos de entrada a la isla pero el viento de Tramontana dificultaba su acceso. Hoy en día y a partir de los años setenta, su desarrollo ha ido evolucionando de cara al turismo presente en la isla.
Ses Plategetes
Ses Platgetes es una pequeña aglomeración de tres calas ubicadas en el lado norte de Formentera, cerca del pequeño pueblo pesquero de Es Caló de Sant Augustí. Este tramo de costa, ubicado en el interior de una entrada, entre Punta Prima y Punta de Sa Creu, fue una vez el segundo puerto natural de Formentera.
Desde aquí partían varias mercancías, comercializadas con las islas vecinas: como testimonio de aquella época todavía se puede observar las pequeñas casitas de los pescadores que servían, y aún sirven, como refugio para los barcos.
En esta zona, la naturaleza es decididamente variada: desde rocas y arena blanca muy fina hasta un sistema de dunas lleno de pinos y arbustos. La vegetación crece libre y salvaje por aquí, pero ya que es un sitio tan único y protegido esta prohibido caminar en las dunas entre el camino y la playa.
Esta diversificación ambiental da a las aguas cristalinas de este lugar matices verdaderamente únicos: también es uno de los muchos lugares donde se puede bucear y observar la fauna marina.
Es Cavall d'en Borràs
La playa de Es Cavall d’en Borras es la playa más cercana al puerto de La Savina, a unos 2 km de distancia.
Esta cala de fina arena blanca, tiene el mérito de ofrecer un hermoso mar turquesa con fondos marinos arenosos y poco profundos, ideal para quien desea darse un baño relajante.
En esta playa de aspecto salvaje se encuentran algunos de los chiringuitos más famosos de Formentera: Beso Beach, El Tiburón y Sa Sequi.
Lo que hace cada uno de estos lugares realmente especial es el momento de la puesta de sol algo que simplemente en esta playa no te puedes perder.
Caló Des Mort
Las rocas rojizas y el mar rico en matices que van desde el azul profundo al turquesa hacen de esta parte de la costa una verdadera joya de la naturaleza.Esta cala arenosa en forma de media luna no es muy grande ni en longitud ni en anchura.Para bajar a esta preciosa cala debes de sujetarte a la vieja cuerda para abajar los rocosos escalones que te guiaran hasta este pequeño rincón del paraíso.
El movimiento del mar significa que hay días en que encontrará la playa limpia y lo suficientemente grande como para dar cabida a varios turistas, otros, donde las algas se depositarán en la orilla, reduciendo así el espacio utilizable. El encanto de la playa Caló Des Mort no se ve afectado por este pequeño factor, teniendo en cuenta de que gracias a la posidonia tenemos esta aguas tan limpias y cristalinas.
Lo bueno de esta pequeña playa es que la tranquilidad no se pierde ya que no hay restaurantes o bares que pueden traer ruido o basura a la playa.

Ses Illetes
Ses Illetes beach is located on the peninsula of Es Trucadors, in the northern part of the island of Formentera. You will find the wonderful pink beach; this particular coloration is given by the union between the fine white grains of sand and coral dust residues that emerge from the sea.
The name Playa de Ses Illetes means "beach of the small islands" in Catalan: in fact, there is the famous island of Espalmador. Not far from Ses Illetes, precisely on the opposite side of the sandy tongue, we find the beach of Llevant; these two beaches are so close that they are often called "the twins" they are on the opposite side of each other and both beaches belong to an area called Natural Park of Ses Salines. So if you are looking for a quiet area with unique views of the turquoise sea and white sand Ses Illetes is definitely the place.
Cala Saona
Cala Saona is the only beach located on the west side of the island and offers a unique environment. The sand is white and the crystalline sea offers sandy and sloping bottoms, ideal for swimming and relaxing on the shore. But what characterizes this place are undoubtedly the large red rocks that delimit the cove.
Despite its small size, about 200 meters long and 140 meters wide, in this place, especially during the early morning hours, you will enjoy an absolute peace that will make you feel almost in a private beach. If you feel like enjoying a beautiful sunset full of warm colors, Cala Saona is the ideal place. It also has the beach bar Kiosko Cala Saona, located in an elevated area where you can take a refreshing mojito enjoying the incredible sunset.
Migjorn
Migjorn beach is located on the south side of the island, that stretch of land still intact and rich in vegetation. Between the two most extreme points of Formentera, Cap De Barbaria on one side and La Mola on the other, this sandy coastline of about 6 km, is not only the longest beach of Formentera but also the wildest part that has always fascinated visitors to the island. Rich in coves and bays, Playa de Migjorn is the perfect place to get in tune with the most authentic spirit of the island.
In its extension, Playa de Migjorn is generally divided into four parts: Ca Marí, which is the closest to the village of Sant Ferran, Migjorn, which is the central part, Es Arenals, which is the most touristic and is characterized by a very large beach, both in extension and depth, and finally Es Copinar, which is the final part.
This beach is called very unique as not everyone knows it because it is the farthest beach of Ibiza and is not considered as touristy as Ses Illetes. Therefore it is ideal for those who are looking for a quieter place but does not lose the essence of Formentera to have beautiful beaches and crystal clear waters.
Es Pujols
Es Pujols is a beach known for being small and social, full of beach bars and casual restaurants rather than the typical five-star fabulousness of Formentera. The beautiful cove is flanked by a picturesque wooden walkway between the beach and the dunes, making it easy to walk from one end to the other, and offers crystal clear, calm waters, perfect for water sports. As the sun sets, the area begins to warm up and the surrounding beach bars and restaurants start to bustle with activity, making it the perfect place to linger in the evening.
Es Caló de Sant Agustí
Es Caló de Sant Agustí is known for being a small area of the island that belonged to the farmers and fishermen of Formentera. It is a small and charming village, in a corner of the Tramontana coast and very close to the beginning of the Camí de Sa Pujada. A green route in Formentera Camí Romà was formerly the road used by the Romans to climb to the area of La Mola, which runs along the historic road to climb to La Mola with unique views over the entire island of Formentera, Ibiza and Es Vedrá.
Traditionally, small boats used it as one of the various ports of entry to the island but the Tramontana wind made it difficult to access. Today and since the seventies, its development has been evolving in the face of tourism on the island.
Ses Platgetes
Ses Platgetes is a small agglomeration of three coves located on the north side of Formentera, near the small fishing village of Es Calò de Sant Augustì. This stretch of coast, located inside an inlet, between Punta Prima and Punta de Sa Creu, was once the second natural port of Formentera.
From here various goods left, traded with the neighboring islands: as a testimony of that time you can still observe the small fishermen's cottages that served, and still serve, as shelter for the boats.
In this area, nature is decidedly varied: from rocks and fine white sand to a dune system full of pine trees and bushes. Vegetation grows free and wild here, but since it is such a unique and protected site it is forbidden to walk on the dunes between the road and the beach.
This environmental diversification gives the crystal clear waters of this place truly unique nuances: it is also one of the many places where you can dive and observe marine fauna.
Es Cavall d'en Borras
The beach of Es Cavall d'en Borras is the closest beach to the port of La Savina, about 2 km away.
This cove of fine white sand, has the merit of offering a beautiful turquoise sea with sandy and shallow seabed, ideal for those who want to take a relaxing swim.
In this wild-looking beach are some of the most famous beach bars of Formentera: Beso Beach, El Tiburón and Sa Sequi.
What makes each of these places really special is the moment of sunset, something that simply cannot be missed on this beach.
Caló des Mort
The reddish rocks and the sea rich in shades ranging from deep blue to turquoise make this part of the coast a true jewel of nature.This crescent-shaped sandy cove is not very large in length or width.To get down to this beautiful cove you must hold on to the old rope to lower the rocky steps that will guide you down to this little corner of paradise.
The movement of the sea means that there are days when you will find the beach clean and large enough to accommodate several tourists, others, where the seaweed will be deposited on the shore, thus reducing the usable space. The charm of Caló Des Mort beach is not affected by this small factor, considering that thanks to the Posidonia we have such clean and crystalline waters.
The good thing about this small beach is that the tranquility is not lost as there are no restaurants or bars that can bring noise or garbage to the beach.
